Getting to know Dr. Snarr

Dr. Snarr and his wife, Lisa are the parents of a wonderful daughter and 4 terrific boys.

Why did you decide to become a dentist?
I was going to school and not sure what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to work in the health profession. I took an Aptitude test and it indicated that I would be well suited to be a dentist. My sister worked for a dentist and I was able to observe him. That's when I decided that's what I wanted to do!

Where did you attend dental school?
Creighton University in Omaha. I was a part of the IDEP program on scholarship through ISU.

What's the best part of being a dentist?
Being able to change people's smiles and seeing them happy with the results. Also, when someone is in pain, being able to give them relief.

What are some of your favorite activities outside of work?
I enjoy fishing, being outdoors, working in my yard, hunting and being with my family doing family activities.

What's the best way to keep your teeth healthy?
Brushing and Flossing and regular dental visits. At least every six months you should have your teeth cleaned and checked.

What do you hope to accomplish in your practice for the future?
I hope to have patients love their smiles, to maintain their teeth in good oral health and to treat them like they're friends and family.

What services do you provide in your office?
We offer a broad scope of services from treating children to doing cosmetic dentistry, wisdom teeth and root canals. Although trained and experienced in all aspects of general dentistry, I believe in utilizing the specialists as needed, as in orthodontic cases.
